Teekay comes from a very small family of three (3) his brother and mother. The boys always had to look out for each other and be supportive towards their mum as she raised them as a single parent.

He decided to work on his spiritual growth in 2015 by joining the church gospel choir, where Teekay  learnt  self  discipline and obedience.Teekay met a guy who did Christian Versatile were he collaborated with him and did scores of music.

Teekay is very passionate about music, his career in music started in 2017 and the journey has not been an easy one. He started off as a circular musician that later on turned into a Christian Rapper, Gqom and Amapiano artist. The industry is full of competition and being an independent artist does not make things any better. The thought of giving up has hit the young artist many times but he strongly believe that giving up is not an option. Teekay recently worked on a single titled Mofaya which got him a recognition and sponsorship for the music video shoot of the single from, the Mofaya energy drink (founder) DJ Sbu.

Travelling worldwide and being an established artist is what he is seeing and hoping for in the near future.Teekay has been in the entertainment industry for 2 years and knows he is  destined for greater things.

He is currently working on an EP titled Isipho,  his very first big project as an artist  he decided on the title “Isipho” to reflect on the gift God gave him. Isipho will be launched worldwide through tours and supporting shows. Teekay’s very first 2 singles have scored him opportunities to work with some prominent music promoters and hosting events with a massive crowd, this is something Teekay never thought it would  happen to someone like him.

Teekay expresses his appreciation to his fans through community work and other programs. He has managed to reach out to more  school kids inspiring and motivating them with the Word Of God via music.

Teekay considers himself as a God sent angel who was sent to deliver a message to the youth through music and dance. “The time is now to do what you think or know that you are capable of doing ” Teekay concluded.
